There are hundereds and thousands of applications that can be downloaded and run on the MDA phone, thanks to the Microsoft Mobile 5 operating system.
This is a list of some of the best software that we have found, and we run our our phones.
T-Mobile MDA Official Updates
- T-Mobile MDA Software Update ROM (2.26.10.2) - This version of the phone software include a huge improvement to the GPRS signal, and ads some cool new fetures.
Our Favorite Applications
- PocketPutty - ssh client, great for connecting to your server while on the road. I use this on a daily basis and was super happy when I found it.
- Agile Messenger - AIM, Yahoo, Google, MSN, ICQ, this program does it all, at the same time! it does NOT use sms to send the messages.
- Resco Explorer 2005 - File Manager, Registry Editor, FTP, Recycle Bin, Network Browser, Send Files Via Bluetooth, System Info, Today Plugin - This is the bejst thing that has happened to my MDA Phone. I swear by this software package. If i had only one application I could install, it would be this.
- PocketNester v0.7 - Nintendo Emulator for your phone. thats right, turn your phone into a nintendo! This application has played every nes rom that I have tried. The cool factor of playing nintendo games on your phone is huge.
Service Manual
HTC Wizard Service Manual - This is a sweet 90 page manual that HTC (the maker of the MDA) put out with more information than you care to know about your phone, from part numbers, to diagnostic modes, this has it all. No MDA Tweaker should be without it.
